Recipe for making cottage cheese waffles in an electric waffle maker

Step–by–step instructions:

1. Grind the cottage cheese through a fine sieve so that the waffle dough is smooth and uniform.

2. Add 3 chicken eggs to the cottage cheese.

3. Pour sugar. The amount of sugar can be adjusted to taste. I usually make moderately sweet waffles to serve with berry sauce, maple syrup, melted chocolate, or condensed milk.

4. To make the cottage cheese waffles lush, pour baking soda into the dough. Add vanilla for flavor, and add a pinch of salt to balance the taste.

5. Add sifted wheat flour to the dough.

6. Mix the ingredients thoroughly with a spoon so that the dough is uniform.

7. We heat up the electric waffle iron. Grease the plates with a cooking brush dipped in oil. Place 1 tablespoon of the finished dough on each plate.

8. Close the waffle maker. Bake cheese waffles for 2–3 minutes until golden.

9. Place the finished products on a wire rack so that the products do not deform during the cooling process. Aromatic cottage cheese waffles are served warm, topped with homemade sour cream, a scoop of vanilla ice cream or your favorite jam.
